Introduction

DFB Sound & Light Warehouse has been trading for over thirty years. The company was originally called just 'DFB' until 1991 when it was acquired by Intercom Communications Ltd and became known as Intercom DFB.  As a trade only supplier, Intercom DFB specialised in industrial and pro Sound equipment. 

As the company progressed further into the leisure industry it became appropriate for Intercom to embrace a wider market place so in September 1999 the company name was changed.  The Sound & Light Warehouse opened its doors to encompass retail sales focusing on the DJ and Pro Sound user.  

In September of 2000, The Sound & Light Warehouse was purchased by its three employees, and has since expanded even further and moved into larger premises.

Retail Customers

We are situated on an industrial estate just off Junction 26 of the M1.  Here you will find premises which house a large showroom and a lighting demonstration room where you can try or view before you buy.  As we do not operate expensive high street retail premises, this allows us to pass on special low prices to all of our customers.   Much of our marketing is web based.  This allows us to be probably the most competitive retailer for Sound & Lighting equipment in the country.

Repairs and Spares

We carry many spare parts and bits and pieces to support our product range.  If you have a broken piece of equipment we will do our best to get it repaired for you.

Try before you buy

Our large showroom is full with all of that wonderful equipment you dream about.  Come and see us.  Our staff will always be happy to demonstrate it to you whether its a mobile Disco or a large club or pub, we have something for everyone.

Part exchange welcome

We will always be happy to  trade in your old equipment against a new purchase.  We will always give you a fair price based on the original value of the equipment, its age and current condition.

We are involved in the business of providing entertainment.  We regularly use the equipment on display and we can demonstrate and recommend the best products to suite your needs and budget.
